About The Band

Church On Sunday (COS) is a Toronto based punk band who's sound spans far beyond the term punk. Best known for their energetic live shows, you must see live to truly understand.

The band debuted in 2015 and since then remained busy playing hundreds of shows, and have several releases. They've released 2 albums, 1 EP and 2 singles. Their shows have spanned cross the country and have been with bands such legendary Single Mothers.

During the year 2015, they wasted no time getting right to work on a few songs, planning to release an EP. However those efforts quickly grew to what became around 20 songs. They picked their favourites, recorded them and a year later presented us with 13 tracks releasing their debut album "Modern Times" in August of 2016. That year they went on to play many shows and release two more things... On Halloween a cover of "Time Warp" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show and during Christmas time, a EP entitled "Merry Punkmas" with a collection classic Christmas tunes done the COS way!

For the next two years they spent their time growing as a band and musicians. They wrote more and played more shows then they even dreamed. All while making friends and having fun along the way.

Fastfoward to 2018 and they released their second album "Operation: Deviation" which once again showcased their broad musical ability expanding the sound of their songs. Later that year on Halloween they released another original song "A Vampire's Christmas." That song turned out to be a master piece in its on and their most streamed song to this day.

Whether you're a fan of punk rock, straight up rock n roll, anything in between, or just having fun.you'll enjoy what COS has to offer.
